| Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez is the main character of The Sandlot. He is the oldest and most committed member of the group, and is the only one who is truly considering baseball as a career for him. He accepts Scotty despite no one else doing so, and is able to get the Babe Ruth ball back to him by facing the Beast head-on. As an adult, he plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers, with Scotty commentating for him. |
