| The Beast, also known by his real name of Hercules, is the villain of the Sandlot. He is the one who the kids make up stories about, with them saying that he used to eat criminals and even ate a kid. In reality, however, he is a kind dog, and becomes the mascot of the Sandlot following the retrival of the Babe Ruth ball. One of the world's largest dogs was used during filming, and some of the kids were really terrified of it. Their reactions were genuine! |
