A turbine interchange. These interchanges are designed to keep cars travelling at incredibly high speeds, but are incredibly costly to build and take up a lot of land.

When two freeways meet, there needs to be a way for people to change which one they're on. That's what interchanges are for!

There are hundreds of different interchanges, each one custom made for their specific circumstance. However, a few distinct designs, like cloverleafs, stacks, and parclos, are among the most common, each one optimized for its own purpose. Some common interchange types are shown below. The trumpet is my favorite!
