The piece "Incandescense" matches my description of my favorite song on the left. It used to be my favorite song, but I have since changed my opinion.

If B♭ major didn't exist, E♭ major would take its spot as the most common key in young bands. Many, many songs are pitched in this key, from peaceful chorales to fast-paced jazz standards, but my favorite kind of songs are those without a melody where the music simply gooes where it pleases.
