Shornei's Seawall. This picture was taken during a restoration effort, and the historic brick facade that covers the stone base has since been replaced.

Edgewater was built on the backfill of Shornei's Seawall, a giant public works project completed in 1856 that helped to make Roseportian soil more level and stable. The town, thanks to its proximity to the center of Roseport, has become famous in its own right. The high street of the town features a closed Roseport STS station, called Edgefield Town, that dates back to the housing boom of the 1930s. The district is full of infrastructure, but the town itself is something that everyone can enjoy!
