No class is perfect, and there are a few things I’ve found challenging or less enjoyable about AP Human Geography:

  1. Tough Exams
The exams can be tricky, especially with all the terminology and concepts that need to be memorized. Sometimes it feels like there’s so much to remember, and the multiple-choice questions can be confusing with similar answer choices.

  2. Overwhelming Amount of Content
The sheer amount of material can feel overwhelming at times. There’s a lot to cover, and with the course being college-level, the pace is fast. It’s easy to fall behind if you're not keeping up with the readings and assignments.

  3. Some Topics Are More Challenging
Certain topics, like political boundaries and economic geography, can be a bit abstract or dry. Sometimes it’s hard to connect the theory to something tangible. I’ve had to push through when the material doesn’t feel as interesting, but I still try to see the bigger picture.

  4. Group Projects
While group projects can be a great way to collaborate, they can also be a bit frustrating if group members aren’t contributing equally. It can be a challenge to coordinate efforts and ensure everyone is on the same page when working on larger assignments.
