Paper airplanes and real airplanes have become closer in recent years. Both aviation enthusiasts and origami experts have made increasingly detailed creations, even at the expense of distance, the original purpose of paper airplanes. The design on the right is meant to be a Boeing 777-300. Of course, it can't fly, but it is unbelievably realistic!
