| War, alternatively known as Battle, is one of the oldest card games currently in existence. Variations of it have been played across Europe, particularly in Germany, since the 1600s. It has a very simple set of rules, and can be played with any set of cards. War was one of the most important games of my childhood, and despite it being an entirely luck-based game, I considered myself as the best player in my faily. |
