Purdue was the first college I vistited. It is located in West Lafayette, Indiana, around 2 hours from Chicago. West Lafayette and its neighbor across the Wabash River, Lafayette, are both very small towns without many people, but what these towns lack in size, they more than make up for in charm. The school itself boasts one of the top engineering programs in the country, and an incredible band as well. Purdue is a great school with an incredibly strong program, and the campus culture helps to propel this university very far.

The Bell Tower on campus is an iconic and easily-recognizable sight for students, standing at the intersection of the engineering and fine arts campuses.
