During my spring break, I went on college tours in the Midwest. I started my college tour in Chicago, the largest city of the region and the last of the "Big 3" US cities I needed to visit to complete my jounrney to all 3. Chicago is widely lauded to be the infrastructure capita of the US, and I definitely felt that when I was there. Triple-decker roads, double-decker road and rail bridges, and the sheer number of L lines and viaducts dotted the landscape, and I absolutely loved it. On top of this, the food there, notably the deep-dish pizza was great, improving my great experience there. My only real greivance with the city is the cold and disrepair of some sections, but it is still miles above most cities I've been to.

The Chicago L, an icon of the city. I rode on it, going on half of the eight lines (the Red, Blue, Pink, and Brown lines)
