| Melancholy Hill, often referred to as Mel, is the main protagonist of The Gaslight District. She is the newest member of The Smiling Dead, and the adoptive daughter of Ken the Butcher. Mel is the only human in the entirety of the Gaslight District, and is the central figure of a prophecy that foretells the end of the hedonistic lives of all who inhabit the area. Despite her desire to become a gangster like her father, Mel frequently butts heads with him due to his desire to keep her safe and her true identity hidden. She is voiced by Allanah Fitzgerald. |
