When i was about ten or eleven, my dad got tickets to see the Astros at Minute Maid park, initially i was ticked because i didn't want to spend Saturdays with dad at a dumb baseball game, but nonetheless he made me go because i was too young to stay home alone...he also said he'd there'd be nachos. So begrudgingly, i went along, this marked the very beginning of my interest in baseball, then came this movie... Incredible...especially the ending where we see what they all became, particularly Ben -Anonymous Two words: comfort movie. When I was about 4 or 5 (or at least some type of young age), I remember so vividly when my mom when turn on the TV and put on The Sandlot. About 10 years later, when I completely forgot about the movie and was bored, scrolling around on Disney+, I saw this movie on recommended and memories came flooding back. While I love this film for bringing back a wave of nostalgia for me (even though I wasn't born in the years when it was made), the plot is terrific -- with many l -Anonymous The Sandlot is a fun movie from my childhood. I remember watching parts of it when I was a kid but have watched it a few times in full as I've grown older. It's one of the great group cast movies of the 90s. A bunch of kids who love baseball. The new guy in town - "Smalls" - gets invited to play with the guys because they only have eight players. Where things get interesting is when they hit their limited supply of baseballs over the fence and into the yard where "The Beast" lives. -Anonymous |
