The Players of the Sandlot

Welcome to the crew — the legends who turned a simple dirt field into something unforgettable. Every player on the sandlot brings their own personality, skills, and energy to the game. Together, they create the moments, stories, and chaos that make the sandlot what it is.

Meet the Team

Scotty Smalls

The new kid in town. Smalls starts off unsure and inexperienced, but he quickly learns the game and becomes part of the group. His journey is all about growth, courage, and finding where he belongs.

Benny “The Jet” Rodriguez

The leader of the team and the best player on the field. Benny is fast, skilled, and confident, but also kind and supportive. He helps Smalls fit in and keeps the team united.

Hamilton “Ham” Porter

The loudest and funniest member of the group. Ham is known for his jokes, confidence, and iconic trash talk. He brings energy to every game and never backs down from a challenge.

Michael “Squints” Palledorous

Smart, clever, and a little mischievous. Squints is known for always having a plan and making bold moves. He’s one of the most memorable personalities on the team.

Alan “Yeah-Yeah” McClennan

Recognizable by his constant “yeah, yeah,” he’s energetic and always involved in the action. He adds excitement and enthusiasm to every moment.

Kenny DeNunez

The team’s catcher and one of the more level-headed players. Kenny is reliable and plays an important role in keeping the game running smoothly.

Bertram Grover Weeks

A quieter member of the group with a laid-back attitude. Bertram doesn’t say much, but he’s always there and part of the team dynamic.

Timmy and Tommy Timmons

The twin brothers of the group. They bring double the energy and are always seen together, adding to the team’s unique personality.

The Rival Team

Phillips

The leader of the rival team. Confident and competitive, Phillips represents everything the sandlot team isn’t — organized, well-equipped, and serious about winning.

The Legend

The Beast

Every sandlot has its mystery, and this one lives beyond the fence. The Beast is the subject of stories, rumors, and fear. Whether myth or reality, it adds adventure and danger to the game.

Why These Players Matter

The sandlot isn’t just about baseball — it’s about the people who play it. Each character represents something different: leadership, humor, courage, or growth. Together, they show that anyone can belong, no matter their skill level.

Their friendships, challenges, and victories are what make the sandlot special. It’s not about being the best — it’s about being part of something bigger.
