Here is where you'll find the history of Fortnite whitch I'm not going to use AI for because I know a pretty decent amount of information about this game and mostly its starting point. Fortnite was announced all the way back in 2011 but wasn't released untill 2017 and it wasn't always a battle royale in july of 2017 before the game was a battle royal it was a survival zombie kinda game where you'd build forts and survive from monsters at night which is where they got the name (fortnight) but was only called that in early development and was later changed to Fortnite. Since the game was only one mode and was kinda like other games back then for example Call of Duty had had zombies in their games since 2008 nothing was really impressive or different from Fortnite so people got bored really quickly and active players started to drop so the developer of the game(Tim Sweeney) was trying his best but whatever he did didn't work so he was ready to accept defeat and shut down the game but thats when Donald Mustard (The person who made Fortnite what it is today)had an idea to release a new mode that was complety diffrent and new compared to what other game companys had done and it could maybe save the game but Tim Sweeney didn't think it'd work but said he'd give it a try and that's when he realeased the mode Battle Royale in September of 2017 not thinking it'd be a hit but it was the only hope and after a few days of Battle Royale being released Fortnite went from maybe a couple of players to 1 million players and withing the first two weeks of its launch it had 10 million active players from kids to teens even adults but who carried Fortnite to be what it is today were streamers the most popular back then and some still now were daequan,fe4rless,Dakotaz, Ninja,Tfue, DrLupo,CouRageJD,SypherPK, Lazarbeam, Lachlan and many more I could list but if it wern't for streamers and Donald Mustard suggesting to Tim Sweeney that there should be a new mode Fortnite wouldn't be were it is today.
