The History of Minecraft

Minecraft was originally created by Markus Persson, also known as Notch. The game was first released to the public in 2009 as a small independent project.

As more players discovered the game, its popularity grew rapidly. The simple block style and endless creativity made it different from other games at the time. In 2011, the full version of Minecraft was officially released.

In 2014, Microsoft purchased Minecraft, helping expand the game even further. Since then, Minecraft has received major updates adding new biomes, mobs, dimensions, and features.

Today, Minecraft is one of the best-selling video games of all time, played by millions around the world.
