The Fallout TV show is inspired by the actual game series, taking place in 2296, 9 years after the events of Fallout 4 and introduces new lore about the Brotherhood of Steel and Vault-tec's experiments.

The show was endorsed by Todd Howard at Bethesda, who is responsible for the original games.
