Setup
  • Players: 2 to 10 players, ages 7 and older.
  • Dealing: Give 7 cards to each player.
  • Draw Pile: Place the rest of the cards face down in the center.
  • Discard Pile: Flip the top card over to start the discard pile. If it is a Wild card, flip another card.
  • Direction: Play starts with the player to the dealer’s left and goes clockwise.
How to Play
  • Matching: On your turn, play a card that matches the top card on the discard pile by color , number , or symbol/action .
  • Drawing: If you do not have a matching card, or choose not to play, you must draw one card from the draw pile. If the card you draw can be played, you may play it immediately.
  • Saying "UNO": When you have only one card left , you must yell "UNO!"
  • Penalty: If another player catches you with one card before the next player takes their turn and yells "UNO!", you must draw 2 penalty cards.
Action Cards
  • Skip: The next player loses their turn.
  • Reverse: Changes the direction of play (clockwise to counter-clockwise, or vice versa).
  • Draw Two (+2): The next player draws 2 cards and loses their turn.
  • Wild: Can be played on any card. You choose the next color to be played.
  • Wild Draw Four (+4): You choose the next color, and the next player must draw 4 cards. You can only play this if you have no cards in your hand that match the current color.
Winning the Game
  • Standard Scoring: The first player to get rid of all cards wins the round. Opponents get points for the cards left in their hands. The first player to reach 500 points wins the overall game
