The West Ranch Symphonic Band is a year-long musical ensemble for intermediate to advanced musicians. Emphasis in this program is placed on developing superior technique, intonation and musicality.

The West Ranch High School Wind Ensemble is a year-long course for the school's most advanced wind and percussion performers. The Wind Ensemble performs the finest repertoire for wind band including contemporary and classic works, as well as chamber music, transcriptions, and marches.

Over the last fifteen years, the West Ranch Wildcat Marching Band has grown to be the largest and most successful group at West Ranch High School. Our 150+ members consist of students from the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Colorguard. Rehearsals are held during 1st semester only from 6pm-9pm every Tuesday and Thursday night. The Wildcat Marching Band performs numerous times throughout the fall at all home football games and at numerous marching competitions. The Wildcat Marching Band has received numerous awards and recognitions since its establishment in 2005.
