National Educational Technology Standards for Students

Day 1- Mr. Burrill Quiz

Assignment 1- Syllabus, course Rules, and Burrill is always right! Syllabus page 6 due to Coach Burrill ASAP. 25pts.

Assignment 2- Create an "index.htm" web page using Dreamweaver and put it on the internet. Page must have text, images, a link, a table, and background change. 50pts

Assignment 3- Create a "music.htm" web page about your favorite music group, musician, or type of music. Page must have title, text, images, text links, table/tables, hot spot link, and background change. You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts

Assignment 4- Create a "sport.htm" web page about your favorite sport. Page must have title, text, images, text links, table/tables, hot spot link, and background change. You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts

Assignment 5- Create a "drink.htm" web page about your favorite soft drink, sport drink, etc... Page must have title, text modification, images, text links, table/tables, hot spot link, and background change. You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts

Assignment 7- Create a "candy.htm" web page about your favorite candy or candy bar. Page can have as many web design techniques as you want, but must have merged cells! You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts

Assignment 8- Create a "picture.htm" web page with 2 pictures combined using Fireworks. The 2 original images must be included on the web page with your new image. You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts Coach Burrill Picture Example Page is HERE

Assignment 9- Create a "banners.htm" web page with 4 banners on it. Make your images 900 x 200 pixels. Here are the topics for your banners.

Assignment 10- Create a "burrill.htm" web page and use a Mr. Burrill image on another image you find on the internet. Include the Mr. Burrill image and your original internet image as well as your new image on your burrill.htm page. Have some fun! Assignment 11- Create a "5.htm" web page and make 5 images with "-5" on them somewhere. Be creative and have some fun! You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts See some coach B examples HERE

End of First 5 Weeks!

Assignment 12- Create a "bowl.htm" web page about a new bowling alley business you have started. You must have a banner at the top of your web page. Include a business logo, other images, and information about your new bowling alley. You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts Coach Burrill's example is on the dry erase board.

Assignment 13- Create a "hats.htm" web page about a new hat business you have started.. Include a business logo, other images, and information about your new line of hats. Page must have 4 rollover link buttons. You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts Coach Burrill's example is on the dry erase board.

Assignment 14- Create a "swap.htm" web page that has at least 2 image swaps on the page. You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts View Coach Burrill's example HERE.

Assignment 15- Create a "mugs.htm" web page about a online mug store you have created. Page must have at least 2 image swaps on the page. Must also have at least 3 rollovers. You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts View Coach Burrill's example on the board!

Assignment 16- Make a FOLDER in your G drive named- "time". You are going to make 3 web pages about 2 items that keep time. Like a watch, grandfather clock, or hour glass. Here are the names of the pages you need in your "time" folder.

index.htm- Basic information about your time keepers, plus logo, and links to other 2 pages
time1.htm- Detailed information about your first time keeper
time2.htm- Detailed information about your 2nd time keeper

Assignment 17- Create a "holiday.htm" web page about a national holiday dedicated to you! Use what you have learned so far and impress me! Give details on why you should be honored and give details about the various celebrations/events that would happen on your special day. You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts

Assignment 18- Create a "bobble.htm" web page about 2 bobbleheads you are selling. You must have a scrolling marquee on your page. Below is the scrolling marquee code. You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts View Coach Burrill's example HERE.

Assignment 19- Make a FOLDER in your G drive named- "tie". You are going to make 3 web pages about 4 neck ties that you have created. Here are the names of the pages you need in your "tie" folder.

tie2.htm- Neck Ties 3 and 4

Assignment 20- Create a "olympics.htm" web page about the upcoming summer olympics. You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts

Assignment 21- Create a "calendar.htm" web page using 2 calendars that you have created using a spry tabbed panel and a spry accordian. You must link to this page from your original index.htm page. 50pts

Assignment 22- Create a "iframe.htm" web page that opens up 4 other web pages inside your iframe.htm page.Below is the iframe code. 50pts View my example page HERE

Assignment 23- Create a 900 x 200 banner in fireworks about your favorite restaurant. Then slice it up and export wizard it out as a web page named "slice.htm". 50pts View my example page HERE

Assignment 24- Create a folder named "webheads". Attempt to recreate the top of wrwebheads.com. Make the page in fireworks and slice it up. Then add image swap to the iPhone screen! 50pts View my example page HERE

Assignment 25- Create a folder named "school". Make a webpage about your favorite school. Can be any school or college. Make the 2 web pages, one in fireworks named top.htm and one in Dreamweaver named index.htm. Have the top.htm page show though the index.htm using iframe code. 100pts Example on the dry erase board.

Assignment 26- Create a folder named "pizza". Make a website about your favorite pizza place. Make 4 web pages, one in fireworks named top.htm and three in Dreamweaver named index.htm, price.htm, and toppings.htm. Have the top.htm page show though the the other 3 pages using iframe code.
