What is Hiking?
Hiking is a form of walking, undertaken for pleasure or exercise, that takes place in natural environments, such as trails, woods, or mountains. It often involves more strenuous, uneven terrain compared to a casual walk and can range from short, easy nature walks to challenging, multi-day, high-elevation treks.
Hiking usually takes place on more uneven terrain(trails) compared to mellow flat surfaces such as concrete
Although to go on an easy 3 mile hike all you need is tennis shoes and some water, on more strenueous hikes which get up there in miles more advanced equipment could be needed
The most notable hike I have ever gone on was when me and my friends hiked Mount Whintey in one day. Our start time was 12:30am, and over the next 16 hours we hiked the 21 miles and finished at around 4'o clock. We summited at around 10 in the morning. below is a photo of me on top of Whitney.
