Giraffes are the tallest land animals on Earth. They can grow up to 18 feet tall, with their long necks making up a large part of their height. Despite their size, giraffes are gentle creatures and spend most of their time grazing on leaves from trees, especially acacia trees, which are their favorite. They use their long necks and prehensile tongues to reach high branches that other animals can't access.

One interesting thing about giraffes is their unique pattern of spots. Each giraffe has a distinct pattern, much like human fingerprints. Giraffes live in groups called "towers," which can be made up of several giraffes. These animals are also known for their calm demeanor, though they can run surprisingly fast, reaching speeds of up to 35 miles per hour when needed.
